Hi Everyone,

Attached is the image of the diamond with the specs below. What are your thoughts? To my untrained eye, it looks pretty good??
I need help as I have to make a decision tomorrow about whether or not I want to purchase this diamond?
I don't know much about the images they sent me in regard to the hearts and arrows cut or leakages, so your feedback would be much appreciated.

Round 1.36ct, J colour, VS1, Excellent cut, polish and symmetry, No fluorescence
Measurements: 7.10 - 7.13 x 4.39 mm
Depth: 61.8%
Table: 57%
Crown Angle: 35.0°
Crown Height: 15.0%
Pavilion Angle: 40.8°
Pavilion Depth: 43.0%
Star Length: 50%
Lower Half: 80%
Girdle: Medium to Slightly Thick, Faceted (3.5%)
(Holloway Cut Advisor Score - 1.7 and within TIC)

Thanks :)

That idealscope image on the right doesn't look real. It looks computer generated or something.

Click on idealscope image and you will see what one is supposed to look like:

Hi, thanks for your response :)

I agree, it does look generated, so I wondered if it's not meant to be an idealscope image and maybe just an image to show the hearts and arrows cut of the diamond??? Not too sure, but I guess its pretty useless as I can't tell what amount of leakage the diamond has. The actual diamond looks pretty clean from what I can see, but apart from the specs, I don't really have much to go on to make the decision.
I would hope being a GIA triple excellent and having a score of 1.7 on the HCA, I should be pretty safe that it is a good diamond, being that I am buying online and seight unseen??

The diamond image itself looks good, but since there is some darkness near the lower center, I'd want to see a real idealscope image to be sure there is not leakage there. It may just be the photography. But an idealscope image would tell us.
