Help! Jeweler recommendations for just swapping main stone in engagement ring

Hi!

I have a Victor Canera setting with a moissanite center. I recently got a LGD to replace it, but Victor won’t swap out the center stone because it was not purchased from him.

I went to a local jeweler, but because the prongs have pave on them, he said it would be impossible to reset my ring with the new diamond!

I really need help - who would I go to for this? I live outside of NYC but the most important thing is that they do a nice job given the fine microwave of my e-ring…

I would ask Victor to source you a lab stone. Can you return the other?
