Help me decide on engagement setting

Hello all. I've been lurking here for a while trying to get engagement ring ideas and I've fallen in love with vintage inspire settings. The problem is... I can't choose which one I want for my ering! I have a 7.5x6.4 unheated sapphire to set, but would like some opinions/thoughts/suggestions.

I'd suggest contacting Caysie at CvB, show her your inspiration pics, and work together to design your dream ring.

I adore the first and last settings. I would sit down and list all the things you are looking for in your ring and present those to CVB or whomever you decide to design it and let them give you some ideas and suggestions. If you are specifically looking for certain aspects it can be hard to find in a ready made ring.

You have a great start and all the ideas would make a beautiful ring.
I have a tendency towards practicality. I would find a setting that is durable if I was planning on wearing the ring daily.
When I was trying to decide on a setting, a very wise jeweler friend asked me, “do you want a setting to enhance the stone or a stone to enhance the setting.
It sounds like a riddle but see examples of this in your inspo pics. The CVB setting that would subtly enhance your stone. Your stone would enhance the Northway Studios setting.
Your stone is such a beautiful color and very uniquely shaped. I personally would find a setting that would enhance the stone.
