That's the one I asked him about earlier and he just replied with that same price. I've requested dimensions and additional videos/photos. I'm hoping it's at least 9.5mm. It makes my heart flutter. I hope you are getting closer to your dream sapphire. You like me have changed your criteria. I really wanted elongated but coming around to one less elongated.

The 4 carat. It's mesmerizing to me in the video. Although, the flutter went away quickly... The additional video showed it as a little darker which was less appealing. Plus, I wish the longest dimension was at least 9mm.

What is the collective wisdom about these stones? My initial reaction was that they are too light since I’m after a light Royal Blue rather than a cornflower but I’m conscious of your advice to go a shade or two lighter than my desired color.

If you want dark, this one will be better than the other HiGems you posted, but it isn't velvety, like you said. It's unheated, correct? I believe he only sells unheated. He's very nice. I just received a spinel from him, and it's very pretty! He'll send more pics if you ask.

Yes, it’s unheated. I’m struggling with the lack of velvet, even though this seems to be the right color. I’ll keep looking. I had no idea this process would take so long but I’d better settle in for the journey!
