Help me find a setting.....based on this

I dont understand what you mean by the art deco aspect of it?

Ditto to NS. Do you mean that it's the general shape of it that you like - the squared center (stone, or setting) with the sides tapering down?

PS - NS, this is the first time I've posted right after you! My compliments to your superb taste in avatars! ;)

Yes exactly - like squarish detailed art deco settings with milligrain, etching and bead set stones, and I also like contrasting stones like glassy textures and sparkly stones....but also love thick shiny platinum;

THANK U so much! I really appreciate it. I like the last one and still can't find the perfect setting - maybe I should get a plain e-ring and then wear it w/ a round brilliant anniversary band??

Hmmm...when you said thick platinum I immediately thought Sholdt. And then you said art deco and I was like "Whoa"....those are really different designs. One is more contemporary and the other is antiquey. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you though. This is what I came up with...but it's missing the squarish shape.

one idea would be to get that lucida type setting (ive seen a lot of replicas) and an art deco band?

have you seen this?

i dont lov the diamonds in the corners but i vet they could change that to be more vintage and less industrial
with a thick platinum WB?

what shape stone do you have again?

Thanks! I have a round transitionl. stone. that setting was different but I kind of want the center stone to be elevated and not one piece cocktail look.... i'm confused myself :loopy: :loopy:

THank you so much! that ring is very interesting......I've never seen rings like that. but I kind of want 4 prongs and to have the center stone elevated higher (mine is set pretty low and is straight, thin and need more substantial)...

Thank u so much. That's pretty but - I found a setting I love but not sure if it would work with my stone as it is only a 7.21mm....
