my gf and i have been actively searching for a setting for quite awhile. we have found almost the perfect one with a couple exceptions. what we like most about it is that it's double banded all the way around without a split. i have gone to at least 15 jewelery shops in last half year (both local and chain in about 3 different major cities) and could not find anything double banded all the way around without a split. what we don't like is the max carot it can hold (1.1c is max, i want to go bigger) and a little knot design on the bottom (this isn't that big of a deal). any suggestions where else to look? getting this custom made i have been quoted $1700-$2500 for it which is way above my range for a setting (i was looking for $1000 range)
