I am helping someone with a Christmas gift: D color VS. Ideal cut/NOT hearts and arrows/smallish table. .50/.55 ish. Its for a pendant and it would ideally be set by the vendor.

interesting and the budget was about 3500.......this is a nice find!

definitely--what are the flaws here? also been told to avoid feathers and naturals?

The first one has a feather, but it should be insignificant in a VS2. The second one has a cloud and crystal, but again, VS2 so it shouldn't be a problem.

thanks so much. what about this one:

http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2661883.htm

That is just a virtual stone, not a stone cut for WhiteFlash. So it doesn't have a picture of the diamond or an idealscope image. However, it is AGS Ideal cut, so it should be fine. The lab report is from 2005, though, so I think that may indicate a stone that was traded in. But that wouldn't really matter since WF would check it out before the purchase.

But, if they want it for Christmas, I would recommend one of the in-house stones because the timeline is very short as it is. The'd have to have that last stone shipped in and then if it wasn't good for some reason, there might be a problem getting it in time for Christmas.

does this idealscope look problematic?

That looks stunning!!! If it didn't push the budget, that's the one I'd go with!

The ideal scope looks great!!!!!!!! It's one of the best one's I've ever seen!! I'm not sure what response you're looking for but it looks pretty darn perfect.

there are no white spots delineating the intersection of the hearts/arrows...........most others show distinct white contrast
