so.. I have a problem.

I've been mulling over the fact that I wear silver/white gold metals more than yellow gold (we're talking 90% vs 10%, probably), and it's starting to worry me that my ER (link https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-green-sapphire-done-or-part-3.195802/) is too yellow for daily wear (meaning, to match my other accessories). I know it seems quite quickly after collecting my ring, but I hope you PSers will understand the anxiety. I think if it were 14k unplated yg, it might be a whiter color - and it's my fault that I didn't check it before we set it (I forgot that we use 18k primarily in asia) - but as it is, it seems too yellow to do with my watches and accessories.

so PLEASE HELP. I still want my chrysoberyls for my WB, and I feel like they need the unplated wg for the yellow brings out the color - and also I just cannot imagine my chrysos in plated yg/plat. so the options I feel like I have at the moment are:

1. plate my ER (this must be possible, right?) - though I would be sad to do this, as I do love how the ring looks at the moment.
2. buy a wg/plat spacer band - but I'm not sure how that white will look between two yellow rings.

what do you think?

p.s. I know there is still that option of resetting my ER in unplated 14k wg, but I don't want to do that for now, so any other suggestions are welcome!

It sounds like you are opposed to wearing 2 different metal colours on the same finger? I don't think this will be obvious due to the finger coverage; you will only see the metal colour difference on the palm side of your hand where there are no stones.

I really don't think it matters if your e-ring/wedding band match the color of the other metals you're wearing. Mine are in platinum and I often wear yellow or rose gold and it doesn't bother me one bit. As well, due to the fact that your e-ring has diamonds all over it and your wedding band will have chrysoberyls, I don't think many people are going to be looking closely enough or perceptive enough to notice the color difference.
