I've curated a list of 28 lab ovals ranging all in the 2.8-3.5ct size ranging all the way from $600- $2k.

I have a very untrained eye but after looking at well.. This sites entire inventory of that range I'm super curious if there are any clear losers/winners in the batch to someone who has more experience in choosing.

I'm super tempted to maybe pick a cheapo & expensive one and compare in person if I can tell the difference, unless there's one in there that looks like a stunner at a good price. Light performance is super important to me but I have no idea how to judge that from these 360 videos!

Please post or message if you're available and I'll PM the list!

I'm going to try and narrow down the list in the meantime because I know clicking on 28 links is quite an endeavor in itself... But any help is greatly appreciated, even if you only get the chance to look at a few!

Down to 20 now but lost on how to get lower! :lol-2:

Huh, I swear there was a private messaging system but I don’t see one anymore! Just going to share the list here for a bit:

3.27 F VVS2 $687 - lots of fire on both this 360 and the one on brilliance? but too much bowtie?

@tyty333 in case your likes were interest in helping haha, I heard you might be an oval pro

Also very open to other suggestions/sources - really want the best light performance and hopefully staying around 1500 or lower

Try adjusting the search filters like so then seeing if any of the diamonds in the search results jump out at ya...blue and gray hued diamonds can be easier to spot by looking for the concentration of color out near the edges of the crown/girdle when viewing the diamond from the side profile.

I would stick to the ones lying on their side. These are all 8 main offset ovals (which seems to be about all they cut
in labs). All of them look fine for an initial screening, but unless you have another way to screen, you're
stuck (ASET or Idealscope images would be a little helpful). With this faceting pattern, I look for additional
facets that light up heading towards the N/S ends as the stone turns. I'm not seeing that in any of the stones.

I didn't look at prices, LxW, color, or clarity...you can do that, and I assume you've not included anything you don't want.

So, I suggest you stick with the ones lying on their side because they are easier to evaluate.

I'll take a closer look at these in a moment.

Order I Like the best...
3.27 (last in my post) - probably because it's got the best lighting and being "shown off" the best
3.04 (second in my post)
3.08( (first in my posts)

You'll need to get dejaWiz to look at them to see if they have any "lab" issues...I'm not good at looking for those.
