I have been searching for a while now for my dream wedding ring. I am in love with so many it's hard to even get started....the HW micropave cushion, Tiffany 'Soleste', the list is looooong :loopy: . Thought I had my mind made up and then I stumbled upon these two rings and can't get them out of my head. The problem is that I refuse to purchase the ring from the jeweler on whose site I found the rings. I would rather have someone make one for me which is why I'm posting. Does anyone have a suggestion as to who might be the best person to do this? I know there are so many amazing creations on PS that have been made by Victor Canera, etc. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance! :wavey:

(I have never posted photos on PS so I hope I'm doing this correctly!) (I also don't know which stone shape I love most. 8)

Are those rounds or squares or what in the shank? I am very sure that LM, VC, SK, ERD and the like can create a like setting easily.

Are those made by a ring designer who sells their settings to other stores? If so you can probably look the designer up on line and they will have a list of what stores carry their settings. But I'm guessing these are from a specific place that designs their own rings. I cant' really tell all the details from the pictures you posted but it looks very delicate, slightly antiquish. Depending on what your budget is I would contact all the names Chrono mentioned and probably Single Stone as well as 23rd Street Jewelers. Are you on a coast line near NYC or LA?

Also I just wanted to add that I love  the first ring you posted! It makes me swoon!

Hi and thank you for the replies :)

Chrono, those are definitely some of the names I had in mind so I'm glad someone else validated what I was thinking. They all do some amazing work for sure. Also, I am not sure about the stones in the shank. I haven't seen the ring IRL but I may visit the store to see if they have it in stock.

Sarahbear621, you know I didn't even think about that. I need to find out if that is a particular designer possibly available elsewhere. I just don't like the family that owns this jewelry store (obnoxious, off-putting) and I don't want to line their pockets any further. Thanks for the other suggestions as well. And yes, I am on the 'left' coast haha! I would have access to any jewelers on this side of the country very easily. And yay I'm glad you liked the first ring! :twirl: I am doing some 'homework' on these and trying to decide on a stone shape so when I'm finally done with all of this I'll do my best to post what I end up choosing.

Oh, a little note: The round is almost 6 carats and the other is over 7. I am not going for stones that large. Thinking more along the range of a 2.5-3.

Happy Holidays

Ok well if it is a family owned store I'm guessing a large majority of the rings are by designers that they bring in. On their website does it say anything about the ring or who designed it? It sort of looks like a starlight ring to me, but it has been awhile.

Since you are left coast I would go with VC, SS, or 23rd St, since they are all located out of CA which you may or may not care about. I'm on the Right side of the country but VC did my ring. No issues with shipping, insurance or anything...great experience.

I looked and there is no information on the ring. I will either go by there or email them, hopefully I will get an answer. I'm glad you had a great experience with VC, I have read nothing but positive about him. I'll look into the others mentioned as well.

I'm annoyed at how many times I have changed my mind on rings. I've been trying to make up my mind on something new (been married nearly 20 years) and every time I think I've found THE one....BLAM! I see something else and go  !!!
PS can be a great place and a source of tremendous headaches for me! There are so many amazing designs here that it can be a little overwhelming at times. :loopy: (headache in a good way of course!)

***Had to come back to ask...I do not have a center stone, would it be best to get the stone through VC if I go with him or source the stone elsewhere?

Your choice but I'd rather shop and buy it myself.

OP, I love the rings you posted. Would you mind providing a link to the original site you found the rings on? I would love to see additional pictures to determine if the first one would suit my finger. Best of luck with your own ring search.
