help on flat emerald cut bezel engagement with my court band

Hello everyone. So I bought my wedding band to natch an old engagement ring, then upgraded the engagement ring.
I have a 0.92 bezel set emerald cut. I just want to know if you think the set looks okay together or if I should buy a new wedding band?
They are both set in platinum.

Just to add. If I did change wedding rings I'd probably get a 2mm heavy flat. Currently I have a 2.5mm heavy slight court.

I love your set I don't see any reason to change the band. Looks very classic, sleek and clean together! Lucky you to have matching studs! Can you post an earshot of those? What carat wt are they?

Thank you! I actually have no idea of the carat weight. My fiance bought me the set second hand with no details of the stones,the engagement ring was originally
A matching pendant that I had turned into a ring at my jeweller, I asked the carat weight and he estinated in settings at 0.92
So I have no idea if clarity or colour but under a 30x loupe they look very clean. My guess would be about 0.5 each? Theyre a lot bigger than a 0.41 princess cut I own.

I think they look very nice together!

But... I have to admit to being puzzled by the apparent difference in size between the two rings. Does each of the rings fit comfortably?

That's a gorgeous set!

(But then I would think that, as my set is almost the same except my stone is round! It's interesting seeing other sets in platinum with a bezeled stone and a plain band. I've become too used to mine, but the rare times I see something similar on PS, I always think it looks chic.

I love emerald stones but probably will never own one. It's lovely! And matching earrings too - delicious!

The size difference really annoys me. The engagement ring is a size I 1/2 (us 4.5) but it had sizing beads in it to stop it turning.
The wedding band is a size I (4.25 us) but I think the main reason for the difference is that the engagement ring is very deep (about 2.5mm) and the platinum wedding band is about 1.7mm. I have bought a 9ct white gold flat 2mm band to try with it and if it looks much better I'll upgrade to platinum. I just think it looks odd
I did used to have a beautiful platinum diamond eternity ring that would have looked perfect with it, but I rturned it to the store because it was so flimsy and I didn't like the workmanship on it.
Heres that one. I miss it!

I love wearing them with my ering. Theyre very pretty. But I think emerald cuts are hard to wear on ears as they don't sparkle the same as an RB or princess.
Thats why I had the pendant turned into a new ring as I felt such gorgeous stones were wasted.
I nearly turned it into a 3stone but I wanted to keep them bezel set.

Last year I had a jeweler "stretch" my platinum Tiffany band from a size 4.5 to a 5. Is that an option, so they line up a little better on the sides?

I think they look great together, but if the size difference bothers you I'm sure a jeweler could make a band to match perfectly. You could always get a band with stones like the one you had. A band with stones wouldn't highlight the difference in the ring sizes so much.

The size difference does bother me a bit. I'll nip down to ny jeweller and see if he can remould my platinum band. Here in englabd jewellers arent that advanced. Were so behind in many ways.

Glad to hear that you're trying to get your band to match better in size. If it's not possible, can you get something done to it so that is looks different from the shank of your ering? Maybe it can be carved with a design?
