Help pick best JA cushion cut. ASET included..

OK, so I'm down to three cushion cut stones for an engagement ring. I have included the ASET for each stone.

2.00crt K-VS1

1.94 I-VS2

1.70CRT I-VS2

The reps at JA reccomend the 2.00crt K-VS1 which is also the cheapest of the 3 stones. Based on the ASET images which one of these stones would be the most brilliant?

You will see a visible tint in that K as opposed to much less in the I color ones. I wouldn't consider K color for an engagement ring unless the recipient has seen it an likes the color.

Part of my decision would depend on what kind of setting the stone would be going in. #2 is more rectangular and #3 more square. I probably like the shape of #3 better but it has a pretty large table. Neither ASET is outstanding other than #3 has a bright center, so I think you can go with the one that will look better in the ring. What is the setting?

The setting will be custom made and will hopefully closely resemble the Neil Lane setting shown below.
I know I want that exact setting but I'm having a real difficult time finding the perfect center stone to go along with it.
I've been to the diamond district in NYC and on the JA website. I figured the K color couldnt hurt since it was also 2crt..lol
But I see your point that the K color may have to much tint. I was just hoping to get the biggest stone possible for the center within my budget which is 9K for the center stone seperate from the setting.
