I need help picking between a heck of a deal on a legitimate Hearts on Fire (HoF) brand or a more generic Hearts and Arrows diamond.

$4200 - HoF = .92 ct, J color, SI (Eye clean, clean table), AGS cert - This one normaly list for ($8400)

$3600 - online Ideal Heats and Arrows = .93 ct, J color, VVS2, AGS cert (6.23*6.24*3.91, crown 35.4°)

I plan on making my desission in a day so a quick recomendation would be appreciated.
Note I have note seen the diamonds in person. I know HoF sparkle like crazy and that is important to me.

IS images, hearts images to compare.

Else no way to be sure if it is a H&A, good performing stone or not.

And where is the online H&A stone from? It''s cheaper, but also if it''s a branded H&A from someone I trust I might be more willing to go with that.

Yes, the Hearts images are avaliable and shown on the AGA report. The reort also shows AGS Ideal cut (000).

Online dealer is James Allen. It is a "True Hearts" stone

Two great choices. What are your plans for the setting? That would play a huge factor in the decision - cost and insurance to set the diamond have to be considered.

Correction- AGA shows the arrows for both and online shows the Hearts for the James Allen stone.
I don''t have the scoped image of the HoF but I know they are quality.

3 stone anniversary ring in white gold or platnium. (maybe 5 stone)
~ 1 ct of side stones. = ~2 ct ring.

Hearts image looks good, computer generated ASET looks good. I would go for that rather than a HOF unless you want the name or one of their special settings.

Here is the setting I am leaning towards.
It is HoF but I may get an off brand that is similar. I want the center stone set a bit lower than pictured to make it look less bridal.

As a HOF owner, I can tell you that their diamonds and settings are top tier. I have had the opportunity to put any number of HOF diamonds under the IS and they perform beautifully.* The settings are impeccable. I don't often post here in RT about HOF, but my personal experience has been nothing but exceptional.

*This is because of my interest in the stones and as a [then] perspective buyer. My jeweler knows I am a PS member and I do not romance the stone! I insist upon the same level of information that is given by PS vendors.
