help! Stuffing cooked OUTSIDE of a turkey recipe requested!

Everybody loved the stuffing Mara and my fi went back for thirds!! He wants me to make it later for non-thanksgiving. Thanks for the recipe. Instead of using sage sausage I used hot italian sausage. I used wholewheat stuffing pieces. Also, I cut up fresh 1/4 cup sage, parsley, and rosemary. They added a nice color to the stuffing.

yum kc (and milly i saw that you used it too on another thread...!!)...it sounds divine. i would imagine italian sausage would work great too as i saw a bunch of recipes with it. we have eaten 1/2 our stuffing already and we have another pan i have to cook of it tonite! we''ll be eating this til like end of next week. mmmm!!!

the stuffing is definitely my fave part of thanksgiving, and mashed potatoes. i love mixing the two together. oooh i''m getting hungry again!
