Help with 2 princess cut ASET images

1st diamond is from Brian Gavin Diamonds and is a .856 Carat D SI1Brian Gavin Signature $3662
2nd diamond is from James Allen and is a .92 Carat H VS1 $3890


I wish the quality of the ASET was the same for both stones so they would be easier to compare.
Which of these 2 stones would any of you recommend?

They are really comparable, btw that is a great ASET for a James Allen pick. I don't think you'd notice much difference. Does one vendor have the setting you want?

Im going custom as neither have the setting i know my GF would love and i have seen excellent work from the jeweler i want to work with.

Both look beautiful. I would go with the stone that has the largest dimensions as princess cuts face up smaller than other shapes. Are you going to have the vendor you purchase the stone from do a custom setting or are you getting that done locally?

Im getting the setting done locally so i can have some face to face contact.

The James Allen diamond measures 5.23 x 5.20 x 3.86

BGD measures 5.15 x 5.06 x 3.87

I agree with farmergal. Go for the slightly larger one- the JA stone. Both look very pretty with nice ASETs tho.
Also VS1 means you wont have to worry about inclusions as is eye clean. So better peace of mind. Good luck with your purchase.
