Help with choosing a ruby for mum!!!!

Hello everyone,

I'm shopping for a ruby to be set in a ring for my mum.I thought these two stones are really lovely but would like to know what everybody thinks about them and which stone is more suitable to set in a ring?

I am also wondering if anybody had purchased from Starruby.in before and if they have had good experience with them?

I'm concerned the Starruby stone isn't transparent, but more translucent.
The Tan ruby looks to have a lot of extinction (black areas), which I cannot confirm because the video isn't workIng for me.

Either way, I would want any untreated ruby I purchase verified by AGL using the $55 fast track memo.
