Hello PSers, and thank you for being a part of my first post!

After changing my mind one million times, I think I may have a contender for my (budget-minded) e-ring center stone.

I have not seen the stone in person, and I know from my lurking that this is probably the only way to tell if this diamond will meet my needs. However, I was hoping I may get some honest feedback on the stone''s inclusion plot.

The stone is a GIA certed 2.01 D I1.

I would also like to hear ideas about whether this stone would cause G-H baguette and small round (larger than pave) sidestones to look poor by comparison.

Thank you again, and I look forward to your replies.

(crossing my fingers that my attachment works!)

No pic attached?

Wouldn't make a difference - can't tell much from the inclusion report. It's a large stone though, and it's an I1, so you should not be expecting an eyeclean stone (if you find one it'll be a very nice surprise!)

Have your vendor take a look and give you his/her honest opinions.

I have a paperclip with the file name at the bottom corner, but I can''t get the image to show in my post.

Thanks for your input, though Yssie.

Ditto yssie, why not get something in the range of G/H since the side stones are in that color range anyway?

Thanks for your comments.
This stone is actually on the secondary market. I''ve been looking for over a month now, and at this point I decided to put out some feelers in unconventional marketplaces (read: not B&M or big online vendors).

The quest continues...

It looks like the stone has a lot of clouds = could be fairly eyeclean but have reduced transperancy.
You want to be able to see the inclusion in an I1 - most I have seen without eye visible marks have had brilliance effecting probs

Thank you, Garry. That was exactly the kind of interpretation of the plot that I was looking for!
My best.

I beg to disagree with the highlighted, blunt statement.

Live long,
