Thanks everyone for being so niceand giving your honest opinions!
I got it checked out today (didn''t do a full appraisal)
By a guy that has been in the diamond buisness A LONG TIME, and was a fellow church member
He checked it out for free and said he would actually rate this stone a VS2 not an SI1!
All I heard was beautiful, beautiful, what kind of cut is this?, beautiful!
Think I did a great job, when he heard how much I paid, he looked a little shocked and admited I got a great deal.
The only negative thing is that he didn''t LOVE all of the numbers, but since it is an AGS 0, and the stone was speaking for itself (showing insane fire in that little store) he couldn''t say much more than that.
He loved the table, but felt it was cut a tad deepDate: 6/26/2009 2:40:11 PM

I take it he/you mean the PA, because the actual depth is just fine. I had a suspician it would be the PA, but when well cut, that''s not an auotomatic pass. Far from it actually, as your stone (and mine) show so beautifully.Date: 6/26/2009 2:59:03 PM

Your right! The numbers can only tell you so much, I could tell he had never seen anything like it and that just had me feeling amazing! I love normal RB but these are so unique and those little arrows are so wild (they have those really strong silvery/white flashes to them that you explained to me before)Date: 6/26/2009 3:20:45 PM

I know what you mean, my appraiser is rather elderly, and I imagine she's seen a ton of stones in her day, but she just raved about my stone. It does make you feel really good, doesn't it?Date: 6/26/2009 3:25:32 PM

And just you wait mister, the more you get that stone out and about, the more you will be amazed. I still get new ''looks'' occasionally, 3 years later.

I proposed Friday
Been busy with work but when I get time I will put pictures up and the story.
Thanks everyone it looks perfect on her finger and she has gotten tons of compliments. One girl asked, how come mine isn''t shining like that?
I almost feel bad in a way because everyone elses diamonds are looking dull and and some look yellow compaired to it. Your right lol, she got another compliment from a random girl that she didn''t know on how much it sparkles.Date: 6/28/2009 7:44:50 AM
