Not sure exactly where I should put this--so I''ll try here...
I was just bumming around another thread and saw your new avatar. "Kiss by the Hotel de Ville" is my absolute favorite Robert Doisneau photograph. When I was 16, my dad brought a poster of it back from a trip to one of the NY art museums. He said when I got older, I would truly understand the sentiment in the picture. Fast forward three years to my boyfriend (now fiance!) flying over the Atlantic Ocean to meet my parents for the first time on a family vacation in, of course, Paris...
Anyway--seeing that picture always makes me smile because it really means true love to me. Perfect for this site, eh?
