Hey SC - sorry, wasn't sure how best to get hold of you - your email is sending spam containing Trojans. Hope it's an easy fix!

I hope Sonoma's email gets fixed soon. It seems to be going around fairly recently. DH's email was hacked 2 weeks ago and Brad's (the Gem Trader) email was hacked last night.

Yes Thanks so much, CM & Chrono. It's an e-mail I don't really use anymore, fortunately.

I did a few full scans (it did find something & cleaned it out, then I ran another full scan or two), a system restore, changed my password for that e-mail. Any suggestions you all might have are welcome. Sorry for the e-mail, CM. I hope it didn't do anything to your computer.

First I scanned with Avast but it found nothing. Then I scanned with Malware Malbytes and it found it.

And Chrono, sorry to hear about your dh's & friends' viruses (meant to say that before - apologies).

I'm running a scan in safe mode on that computer right now (and using the tablet to write this) as I hear viruses can be more easily found & removed in safe mode.
I rarely get viruses so this is quite creeping me out/annoying me (or something like that).

So glad you found it and are "clean" now. It is such a pain to have to change all your passwords, track down the virus and hope that no sensitive information was stolen.
