It''s a fancy yellow radiant 1.77ct
7.18 x6.95 x4.05 mm

table 69% depth 58.3

The GIA reports for colored diamonds - Clarity: VS1, Distribution: Even Polish: very good Symmetry: Good Flourescence: Med Blue

I was worried about the depth, that it would not have much fire.

And I was wondering if it''s worth the money, how much would you estimate this diamond to cost?

I hope I gave enough information, the ring looks beautiful but I haven''t seen it in person, only on the computer screen. I tried to send this yesterday but it didn''t go through - said that it was having problems accepting files or pics, and they were working on it. So I can email it to you or DM if this site has private messaging.

Thanks to everyone, the grading information is amazing on this site, but completely over my head complicated (scans, scopes etc) very detailed!

Hi Cassandra and welcome!

Fancy colour diamonds aren't judged by normal methods and the cut comes secondary to the quality of the colour - which is the most crucial factor with these diamonds. When cutting, bringing out the best of the colour is uppermost in the cutter's mind so these stones aren't usually cut for optics/ beauty but to make the most of the colour.

We don't have PM here but if you have a photo email admin using the msg admin button and attach the photo to that, they can post it for you.

But your best bet would be to make any sale final on this diamond checking out to your satisfaction with an independant appraisal ( and get this in writing that you can return it should the stone not do so).

Here is an appraiser tool here.
