I've been looking everywhere for a wedding band to suite my .90 VS1 F color Marquise. I find it hard to find a wedding band that will keep the rings shape balanced. Please if you have a band with your marquise post it! Let me know what you think of this pair even if you don't like it. If so let me know why. I would really live some feedback. Thanks!

Thank you very much. Does it look funny that they don't fit flat against each other? Dose the wedding band over kill the marquise shape?

I like it, and I don't think the band is overkill. Alot of people around here prefer a non matchy-matchy or a non flush fit set. You probably won't be able to find a band that will sit flush unless you go with a curved band.

I love your set! I think you did an excellent job selecting a wedding band. It is seriously perfect! :love:

I am a marquise diamond lover. I was married with a marquise diamond (?.56) which I still have! I had a yellow gold setting with a ring guard. I thought I was a princess! I still love my original baby although I wear a huge one now! It is my favorite shape diamond for my finger, even though I have a 6ct RBC too! Your setting is much more classic and elegant than my original mq was set in. I love it!

I like the gap and think the set is very nice. If you want them to have more definition check out getting a super thin (like 1mm) plain stacking ring (rose or white gold) for in between them. I find when I have two rings that have a similar feel right next to each other, they become better defined if I separate them with something opposite. (For example, I have a pave shank halo and pave half eternity and find it looks best if I don't put the two pave's next to each other, but break them up with something smooth or colored stone.)

I love it! I think they are distinctly different enough to compliment without looking like just one ring on the finger! Great job! I have a marquise and I know how hard it is for it to look good with a wedding band! I just wear it alone. But sense you asked for other pics... I tried to snap one with my wedding band.

I think the rings look beautiful together! I like a slight gap between rings. Your ering is so pretty! I have a soft spot for marquise stones, the shape is so lovely on the hand.

I like it very, very much. I think it has a vintage look, almost like diamond lace. Very pretty indeed. Don't change it!

I like your choice for a wedding band! Its very "outside the box" - you aren't sticking w a traditional plain band or fitted band, its pretty creative and I like how the two work well and compliment each other.

Very nice idea!! They look PERFECT!

I love the set together! I personally think it's ok to have a small gap if that is what you're worried about. I love how the rings compliment each other!

Hmmm.

Dissenting voice here.

I wasn't crazy about the combo (felt the band is just a bit too much with the style of WR, takes away from it somehow), and have looked several times and read the replies. Perhaps, as someone has suggested, my eye just needs the spacer...no, my eye needs a simpler band to let the ring shine.

If you love it, then 'nuff said.

I'm really starting to think it needs a spacer myself as well. I've been looking at alot of stacks and I really like the look of it. I may start with a 1mm plain white gold. The thing I like the most about this band is the etching. I don't really want more diamonds. The e ring it's self is SO blingy. I'm quite abut more humble than my e ring but I'd never change anything about it. This is a pic I took when I wasfojbf around with my iPhone.
