Honest opinions of my new pear sapphire please

Lovely pear shape! Pears tend to show colour most in the tip only - as this does - but it is a lovely aquamarine and the size looks very nice. I like it! *but I'm no CS expert, just a PSer who likes 'pretty things'!!

Its great that it fits - what do you think - like it enough to set it? it won't make the same statement a strong coloured stone would, but it would still be a BEAUTIFUL ring in the softer colour!

Well? Do you like it? The coloured deepened a little in the more enclosed halo setting. Have you played around with the stone (and ring) under different lighting?

I LOVE IT!!! I'm a sucker for a pear stone and I really love aquamarine - so to my eyes---- its beautiful!!!

I have played around with it a bit and I like it more than I thought I would though I don't think its love yet. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Dana at Master Cut Gems - I've decided to try that Imperial garnet pear from way back when. Also Peter may have some rough that may work since I've branched out on my colors. I really REALLY wanted blue for this ring but seems I just can't get there from here. So I'll probably just do a different blue or purple ring project
If I decide against the aqua I'll probably just put up on DB since I don't imagine I'd use it for anything else.
But for now its fun to at least have SOMETHING to look at in my poor sad empty ring
