Beautiful earrings and such a lovely, sophisticated, elegant collection !!!!

Thanks Dani, blueiris, Decogirl, Marcy, Yssie, PoshPrincess, Cachette and blingmyring!!!

I have had them for a week now and I love them. They are great for everyday wear and I don't even feel like i am wearing earrings which is a good thing since i didn't really wear any before. :))

I have to say though, I can totally rock a larger pair! Good thing I can upgrade hey??

Thanks again!! :wavey:

Beautiful stones! They look great on you!
Just a question: is Martini's setting comfortable to wear?

Thanks purplesilk! :wavey:

I have to say they are pretty comfortable! I honestly don't feel like I have earrings in when i am wearing them. I have noticed though that when i take them out my ear holes look very... um.. 'used' :? I think it is because i am extra paraniod of losing them so i make sure the backs are pushed on nice and tight and the stones do sit fairly flush to the skin so the settings sort of push in to the holes a bit.

I know what you mean, that's why I still have some doubts about the Martini's setting...
Anyway, they look wonderful on you and they complement your gorgeous e-ring and wedding band.

Gorgeous! I think that we are martini stud twins - mine are about the same size, but the diamonds aren't as nice as yours. Yours are so sparkly and perfect - love the arrows!

I like!!!!

miss orangetree- I have some serious lust for your lovely earrings! :rodent:

I was so excited to see this thread. I was wondering how long it would take for you to find the other half of your gorgeous martini's. They look absolutely perfect in your ear. That size seems to be somewhat of a rarity and it looks like your patience paid off. I'm so happy for you.    (and a bit jealous as well. ;)) )
Question for you: Did you try on a bunch of different sizes to see what looked best or did you just know that was what you wanted? I only tried on .75-1.0 cts on each ear. I wish I could have tried .6ish, but very few BM stores have that size.

Thank you LALove, catwalk82, tiagan, Andelain, vespergirl, and purplesilk (again) ;)) You are all too kind. :))

Tiagan, i must have spent a good 3 months cutting out different sizes of sticky labels and putting them on my ears to see what size I liked. 8) I started out with .40's and while I have seen them looking huge on people here they just weren't doing it for me. I ended up going to a cheap costume jewelry shop and purchased a pair of fakes that I thought were big but not too big. I thought they were about half a carat each and wore them for a few days. They turned out to be 5.5mm each which is about .65ct. I purposefully didn't try on any lager than those fakes though since i knew i couldnt afford to go larger than the .60ct right now, and i didn't want to dissapoint myself by wanting a size i couldn't afford.

Mine now are 5.4mm and they look slightly smaller than the fake ones which is probably a good thing, although, I am secretly happy that i have the opportunity to upgrade one day as i know i can rock a larger size. ::) My advice is to buy some fakes and wear them around the house for a few days to see what you like size wise, measure up the mm and work out the ct weight from there.

Buying one at a time was so easy as well, it kind of drew out the pleasure and anticipation a bit too which i am all for. :))

Hi Amy :wavey:

Thanks :))

The colour difference is very interesting. Next to each other, especially on a tilt, there is a huge colour difference and the I's are noticably tinted/yellow, thankfully though, they only get next to each other when I am cleaning them under a dim kitchen light ;)) When they are in my ears and the ring is on my finger though I can't notice any major colour difference and the earrings face up beautifully white considering they are I's.

   So beautiful. And classic. And they look awesome in your ears. You just helped me stand firm in my quest to save up for a larger pair of studs!

lovely!!!

Gorgeous pics, HOT! They look HUGE on your ears! Perfect size, really!

These are absolutely gorgeous!!! They look so beautiful and big on you...I really love the simple elegance of diamond studs, they look so classy and are perfect for everyday wear. Congrats and enjoy!!

I'm also considering the same size...same colour (debating between H and I)... And I'm a bit concerned about the martinis sinking into the ear hole as well..... do you by any chance have a full head shot wearing the earrings and a side view picture? ::)

Hawaiinorangetree (or hot), I love your earrings. I need my own bevy of Brian beauties! I was thinking I would start out around
the .40 ish mark, work up to .60 and then at the most .85ish. I would love over a carat, maybe 1.20 @, but the thought of walking
around with that much money in my ears kind of freaks me out. I don't know why. Perhaps if I hadn't spent so much on rings....

Anyway, your earrings look absolutely perfect on you! Just the right size, and the sparkle is blinding. Gotta love that!
