Okay, I know this has been nearly a month coming, but I finally snapped some more shots. I called out sick today to sleep off a head cold, but this afternoon I decided I felt up to a photoshoot. I was runnning out of light by the time I got the batteries charged (three batteries and NONE of them charged?!), but I think I got a few nice shots. I only wish I could have gotten the ring a *little* cleaner -- I am asking for a steamer for Christmas!
Thank you so much to everyone who has posted a response! I really love this ring and I love sharing it with you all.
I tried to recreate the "up in the tree tops" pics I did when I first got the stone, but I think I needed more sun...I''ll try again another day, but here are today''s efforts...
(funny side note -- I actually grew this pumpkin...accidentally! Must have been a loose seed or two from one of my Halloween decorations last year, ''cause this spring a whole vine sprang up in one of my flower beds. I got three little green pumpkins off of it before I had to pull the vine, and they have all turned orange just in time for the new season!)
I know I have no right to say it but I''m going to anyway........ I WANT A CUSHION!!!!!
Seriously, I love the before and after shots (as well as all of the outdoor ones). Geez, what a halo can do. It definately steps in up a bunch of notches!!! Enjoy!
Susi - It is actually a newly cut stone, but one cut in an old style. I got it from Whiteflash. Here''s a thread with more info and pictures of the stone, sans halo.
DiDiamond - Oh, I definitely think you need a cushion!
But I actually completely agree...Don''t get me wrong, I love the halo to bits, but I was just thinking earlier today that I sorta miss the cushion being completely loose. Sure, I couldn''t wear it, but I could *play* with it and admire it from every angle.
Though I don''t think I ever put it in my mouth...I wouldn''t want to deal with the consequences of accidentally swallowing it...
