How do I found out which office has my full E.G.L. Cert?

I have a diamond I purchased back in 92. It''s E.G.L. and I have the little blue diamond consultation card. On the back it say call or fax for full cert.
I have called E.G.L. in LA and NY, they say it isn''t theirs, try Canada. I did, they say it isn''t theirs try International E.G.L. I have sent them an email but havn''t gotten a reply yet. Can anyone tell me who to contact to get the full cert?

If it isn''t a USA card then you already are holding what may prove to be the "bad news". The accuracy of color and clarity come into question especially on non-USA EGL reports. The measurements of the diamond, provided it is the correct diamond, will not be the problem most likely and that is all there will be with a full report. You already have the color and clarity on the small card, for what it is worth. Getting the report after a purchase has been made is a backwards proposition. It should be examined first, not after you have paid, but you may have a good return privilege still if there is a problem. However, the full report is no more likely to have a problem than the tiny report you already have. Get someone qualified to check it out.
