How do I make/e-mail a video of a stone & have it upload?

I'm trying to send someone a video of a stone I have but unless it is a 3 second or less video, it's too big to upload to send. I do videos with my Cannon Powershot camera.

Suggestions?

And/or, how do I put a video on You Tube? Would that work? I don't have a You Tube account, even.

thanks so much,
sonoma

I don't know how to do all that. My mother uses a Flip video which has a site for sharing. To post YT videos, you'll need to sign up.

www.wetransfer.com

FREE!
Private ... only your friend can see it.

You upload the video to their servers.
Enter your email address.
Enter the recipient's email address.
Press send.

Works great on large videos.

Free and private always works for me. Thanks Kenny!

When I say private I mean it is not a youtube thing where everyone can click on it.
It only gets sent to the recipient.

I cannot vouch for whether they delete it after they send it.

We're living in a new world where FREE often means they figure out a way to make money on you based on your activity.
I suspect wetransfer does not do this.
They make money on the ads you see while the file is uploading, so maybe that is the end of the process.
(I don't look at the ads; I just open a new window and go to PS. :D )

Thanks so much, Chrono & Kenny. I really appreciate it !! I'll let you know how it turns out; I'll probably do it Saturday as it's been overcast here.

Kenny's suggestion worked well. Thanks so much ! Video sent & stone sold !

Also, most videos direct out of camera need to be compressed with a codec to keep the file size from getting too large; I run it in one of my various video processing programs (can't remember the name at the moment, let me get back to you on that).
