The main diamond in my ring was rated as having faint fluorescence. I picked it over the one that had none because I think the fluorescence is really cool...

I know that sometimes it can''t be seen at all, but what could I use to see for myself whether or not it does show? Logically, I''d think that if it could be seen and rated as being faint, then surely I must be able to see it somehow.

Any tips?

black light, but it might not really show all that much for you to say "ooh, cool"

Yes, faint is not really enough flor for it to be visible under most noral circumstances, such a bright sunlight, where flor would be evident.

It might show itself very slightly in some bright sunlit conditions but the effect is very subtle and also can be confused with seeing the blue of the sky in the stone.

yap, go to a dark room and shine it with black light.
