How do you feel about this .74, F, SI1 diamond?

Finally time to purchase an engagement ring for my longtime girlfriend!

I appreciate any feedback you might have on the following diamond (all details from GIA cert):
.74 carat
F, SI1 (eye-clean according to staff gemologist)

Unfortunately, I am unable to see the diamond in person and the only image available is attached.

Well, it scored a 1.5 on the HCA so that's good. I'm wondering why it's dark in the center (maybe that's a reflection?)...and I'd want to be sure that's it's 100% eye clean.

All of the diamond images from this store have the same black in the center, so I assume it is reflection.

It's possible. Will you see the stone in person before you buy it? well, the numbers look good, so if you're pressed for time it isn't something I'd say no to. Do they have a return policy just in case?

Will they send you additional photos in better lighting? If not, then maybe it'd be worth having it shipped to you and if you don't like it send it back?

No other photos available, but I figure since the specs look good, I might as well see it in person!

Hard to tell from that photo, but if the return policy is as good as you say it is, I think you have nothing to lose. I recently bought a 0.714 H Color Si2 AGS from a reputable dealer. Was very worried about the Si2 at first but the dealer assured me it was eye clean. When I saw the diamond with my own eyes it was a gem. Couldn't be happier with the savings.
