How many engagement type rings do you have? Pics please!

Aww @Mamabean, that's quite a compliment from one with a magnificent collection like yours! :kiss2: I did try on a 15-pointer band when I got this one, I loved it too. But hubby preferred this one...so who am I to argue?

Thank you lovely!

I currently alternate between maybe 12-15 different rings as my engagement ring. I’m a total CS girl so I play in the land of color. I often pick my ring based on my mood or outfit. My DH doesn’t care what ring I wear on that finger so long as I’m wearing one. :mrgreen2:

Here’s some of them...

I hate to say this but that three stone paraiba rakes the cake. Poor minty doesn't have a chance. That ring glows!!!

I didn’t have an engagement ring 40 years ago, technically we didn’t get engaged, just got married

To celebrate our 40th in a couple of weeks, I got Bella.

I love everything about the way you acquired Bella, @Austina. Talk about starting at the top!! And happy 40th for a couple of weeks; wishing you and your husband many more! :kiss2:

Thank you! 9 years later and she’s still my favorite. I don’t remember all the specs now but it’s a modest .62 on a 4.5 finger.

Thank you, @luxe - on your lovely slim fingers I think she looks wonderful! I love stones under 1 ct (my favorite thread on PS is the < 1ct thread) and think they look gorgeous on all you girls with slender fingers! Love your collection, luxe - thank you for sharing! :wavey:

Thank you Dandi..I’m drooling over everyone’s gorgeous rings!

Thank you @mrs-b it’s been an interesting ride, but I wouldn’t change anything, and Bella was definitely worth the wait. Just sad that we won’t have another 40 years together.

You can’t know that Austina..My mom is 93 and still going strong!

I have a few different rings. I have a 1.5 Ct. Pear solitaire, a 1 ct. cushion in a pink diamond halo, a 3 stone OEC (.85 center I think) Art Deco style, and a 8 mm OEC moissanite (which I would like to replace in the future) in a halo split shank. I also have a Tiffany bezet .16 ring and lastly my 3.09 ACA in a non diamond halo.

@mrs-b Are you planning another something? :geek2:

Yup. In the new year I want to buy a diamond to upgrade over time. We' see how cleaned out I am after Christmas!! :))

I was thinking of doing the same thing! I’ve decided I like MRB’s better than the OEC’s..even though they are beautiful..My major stumbling block is I feel like I’m replacing my engagement ring and it bothers me..I thought of starting small at Whiteflash and setting it in a plain setting and every year go up..I like their upgrade policy..I think I’ll be heading towards a three stone..:P2

I’ll have to do a photo shoot. Oh! And a .53 (I think) OEC daisy ring surrounded by rose cut diamonds.
Here is that one. I had DK sizeit so it can fit both my middle and ring fingers.

Ooooooh! It’s gorgeous! Did DK make the ring or did he just size it? I’m looking for one now!

I’ll 99 in another 40 years and DH would be 108, I don’t think either of us expects to still be around then

Me too! I’ll be 104..105 in January!

Thanks Mamabean! I should probably start thinning the herd, a few don’t get worn much :oops2:
Wear them! They’re so beautiful!

Which ones do you wear the most?

Do you know any vendors that upgrade OEC’s bought from them?

Thank you! It’s actually by Etsy seller Julia B. I just had David add milgrain and resize it. I think she has another one listed right now and I saw one listed very similar on JBG also. Oh! I was wrong. It’s .63 Ct. for the OEC and .55 ctw for the rose cuts.

Ivy and Rose does upgrades. I don't quite remember the policy, but I think you get 90% of the value of the stone. That said, they don't have much over 2cts...

Here are all my engagement type rings. I also posted them with the bands I normally wear them with. The pear with a Tiffany shared prong, the OEC moissy with the WF harmony band and the DBL cushion with a rose gold Simon G band. I don’t normally wear the three stone OEC with a band bc it’s wide but when I do it’s a single cut old 1920s wedding band I bought from a pawn shop. The rose cut cluster I wear with a bezel set diamond eternity from LOGR but I didn’t take the picture with it.
