@jaysonsmom - I love your three stone and I love the proportions. I'm planning a new three stone. Would you mind sharing both your finger size and the ctw or each stone in your ring? Its proportions are perfect to my eye.

Until I typed this all out it wasn’t apparent just how many rings I wear as e-rings. Well just don’t tell my husband lol!

I’ve been wearing this pairing this week, the top ring is platinum with very intricate details and a transitional cut diamond. Bottom is a single cut eternity called Pearl’s ring because it has an inscription “Dave to Pearl”


Next is this yellow old mine cut diamond that David Klass made a setting for, the engraving is amazing on it:


This is the Queen of Hearts, platinum with an 85 point OEC diamond. It’s stacked with a sapphire eternity and micro pave eternity. Freaking adore this ring:


This is one of the few colored stones I wear as an e-ring, lavender spinel in a Stuller setting:


Blondie, a champagne OEC, the diamond band is soldered to the e-ring. Fancy Pants is a bit much to wear as an e-ring but she looks pretty here so…


Last but not least, this Garrard diamond ring, either worn with a super thin rose gold band, Pearl’s ring or a micro pave band:

@mrs-b :Thank you, my 3-stone is made up of 1.81ct approximately 7.8mm center with 0.5 ct sides. My finger size is 5.5. I think this 3-stone has a lot of presence and spread. I often wear it alone, when I just want to wear 1 ring.

I have a meeting this morning for David. Also I have a repair guy coming this afternoon. When there’s a lull I’m going to get my stuff and start sorting them out. I think I have less than last time. I have to look. One of the stones is now in a bangle. I was trying to reduce the amount of rings I have. I’m rolling my eyes..haha..

That’s a great way to show how you wear them instead of on one hand. I’ll do that!

I just took them off because my son went to show my grandson pics of him and his brother on my IPad. There were more pics of my jewelry! I was so embarrassed!

And tell us about the bezeled colored stone? I love that setting! Super simple - super gorgeous. I've found, as I've gotten older, that my number one requirement for jewelry is that it has to be comfortable. Long gone are the days where I'm prepared to suffer for fashion! I don't like heavy or clumpy, but I DO love safe, and sleek, and "it never catches on anything..." I love a bezeled cushion or EC - just stunning.

So. Two questions. Firstly - looking at your collection, it is utterly clear to me that - one day, at least - you'll reset your solitaire. Thoughts on that?

And secondly....

When are we going in together to buy our dream emerald cut?? 4cts. Minimum.

@mrs-b Thank you! Yes..I definitely want to reset Winter. I’ve sent tons to David without worry. Winter is too expensive for me to casually send her through the air to the other side of the United States. I‘m going to wait until I can fly out there…I will hand it to him in total trust. It would be on him to send it back to me...I would be less worried that way.
The bezeled ring is supposedly a silver spinel. As you can see it isn’t silver…It wasn’t the color I was hoping for..I didn’t want to send it back overseas so I just told him to make it in silver and bezel it.
I‘m on a ban..but I’ve been toying with trading in Bee towards an emerald cut. I told my husband no more money gifts..He may or may not listen to me. If he gives me one this year then I may trade it in for a smaller EC. I can then trade up..depending. I love Bee though..I may just bezel her and forget about the EC. I would reset the bangle with a colored stone. My brain is fried with overthinking…Of course if we do halfsies..that would be awesome! 4 carats is my dream ring!

First is my wedding set which is a custom Brian Gavin dream wedding band and matching ering with a 1.17 G VS2 Signature diamond.
Next is my new cushion made by DKJ. She is a custom ring of 1.5 P SI1 center and .8tcw OP sides SI1. Set in platinum with heart prongs.
Next is my VC Emilya set with a 1.16 L OEC. I forget the clarity but I think it's VS1.
And then I have my great grandmother's diamond. I've never had it appraised so I don't know the stats but maybe around a 1.2 I or J color?
Someday I'd love an AVR and an ACA! I'm very happy and content with what I have but hey a girl can dream right lol?!

Thank you @YadaYadaYada! I love clusters. I would love to get more but that isn’t happening. There was one photo of a gorgeous cluster I was saving for a long time. It was just too expensive. It was torturing me so I deleted the photo. I think I’m going to go back to see if it’s still there. I actually forgot which vendor it was! I’m still not buying it though..sigh...
