How many pairs of black shoes do you own.

Only 2. I never wear black! I'm a weirdo. I wore a dress to a wedding the other day that needed black shoes and realized the only two pairs I have are pumps and flats - no dressier ones - so I wore the pumps. All of the shoes I own really match better with browns or greys. I don't own any black boots or flip flops either - only brown.

TGal--I am totally guessing here...but I would think you'd need:

black flip flops

black sandals that at least have a good sole and over the foot support system aka tevas?

black open toed, low heel shoes for going out

black open toed, high heeled shoes for going out

black closed toed shoes with a sensible heel for meetings

black closed toed shoes with a higher heel for meetings

black boots for when you travel to colder climates with some sort of a heel.

But nope, all I need from the list are black flip flops. I don't wear heels at all anymore, so black flats is all I need for meetings. And going out? Bahahaha! The only going out we do is the house parties (I wear flip flops for our date nights...poor TGuy). And I avoid traveling during winter...trying to save the cost of winter footwear!

Seriously though, one time many many (like 10) years ago, I had to travel to Omaha in the winter. I actually had to buy a coat for the trip...I didn't own one!

Only 5. Very low number (for me). I only have two black purses as well; a clutch and a handbag. I'm very picky about finding the "right" black.

Almost all my shoes are black...don't know how many I have though b/c I have most of my stuff in boxes and everything is scattered. My favorites are unpacked and looking all pretty and organized next to stacks of half-full boxes of books, etc.

Mwahaha! Don't look on the 'Vog website. They have some *killer* pink shoes. The Miracle Canas are super cute and come in fuschia. (I'm soooo helpful )

Love it. I feel positively angelic reading through the lists here. AND I'm able to justify the two extra pairs of black shoes I wanted... then reconsidered and decided to start this post over.

I think I have...
One pair of leather slides
One pair of ballet flats
One pair of super high dress
One pair of satin dress
One pair of wedge suede
One pair of boots
And the one pair of mid heel pumps I just bought.


Plus the two pairs that hurt and that I am going to consign. I may have forgotten one or two pairs.

I practically live in sneakers and go barefoot indoors. I have the prettiest feet you have ever seen on a 53 year old, whereas many of my friends have tons of foot problems, have deformed feet and toes, and heel problems from many years of shoving their feet into heels and ill fitting shoes.

Too many to want to consider how much I've spent in total... and that's not including the many pairs still languishing at my parents' house


I've quit buying shoes online - too many times they come in and aren't quite right, and I wind up missing the full-return period, and decide it's more cost effective to keep them *just in case* - I'd wager the majority of them are just in case cases, actually. I actually use - let's see - six pairs of heels, two pairs of flats, boots, and flip flops regularly. Yikes.

Croc sandals.
Flip Flops.

I only have an additional 3 pairs of shoes too, LOL! Red flats, silver sandals and some blue pumps I'll probably never be able to wear again.

Seventeen pairs to include flats, sandals, high heels. And I probably forgot a pair or two, so I'll say 20 pairs of black shoes. And maybe five pairs black boots. A girl can never have too many pairs of black shoes.

Well, 50 to 100 pairs might push the envelope. A bit.
