I can only find the price for the one with 4mm bands ($1450). How much is the skinny one? Anyone know? Cheers!

Thank you diamondseeker! That link redirects me to their mobile site on my phone, I'll have to fire up the old PC to take a peek.

DS, where it says 2.9mm width, does that mean each band? Or total width? Do you know what the width of each band is?

That's way more reasonable than I imagined! I have wanted one for a Long time!

I agree April! Wow, what a fairly affordable way to own a genuine Cartier piece!

I've been stalking/watching on eBay for a while and even used, if it is in decent condition and in your size (there's the trick!) they are still running around $800 ish. For the extra $200 --- I'd prefer to get new.

The Cartier store is one of my 'must do' things in LV - and I am definitely planning on trying this on. I'm hoping I can resist purchasing it while I'm there!! :Up_to_something:

HI:

Oakgem has several, but I am not sure if they are your size or (preference) width. No harm in looking!

cheers--Sharon

I think it means each band. For awhile they carried an even thinner version, but it must not have been popular because it is no longer listed.

How many sizes of the plain trinity are there? I'm on my iPad and can't work the website. Do you know the mm of each size?

That was my thinking, too. I have a "difficult" finger size (59 in Cartier terms). I did look into other rolling rings and was quoted $1900 for one by Memoire with 2.5mm bands, vs. $1000 for the Cartier 2.9mm version! Crazy, especially since there was no way to try it on in my size before deciding. I was able to try on various sizes at Cartier to make sure I got the perfect one. Plus, the service at my local store has been wonderful- I am having the 3 bands engraved with each of my 3 daughters' names and birthdates, and that is complimentary. Overall, well worth the cost to me. :)

Thanks, junebug! I must say I am *really* excited about it. :)

I tried on a very narrow one in Atlanta recently and I thought they said it was about $900. I want one too!

:D My thoughts too to engrave my kids' names on the bands! I SOOOOO want one of these...however at my current saving rate, I'm looking at another year of waiting.

Enrichi: Again please take pictures! Although all this talk isn't going to make waiting any easier! :D

I tried it on in Italy when I was there at the beginning of the summer. It was very pretty but just didn't do it for me when it was on my finger. For the skinny one it was around$1600 but that was in EURO with the VAT tax. I know I would have gotten a portion of that money back because of VAT, but didn't ask how much as I wasn't serious about buying it.

Just any FYI that they had several different versions of the trinity. I thought I would want the tri colored but I really ended up loving the rose and white gold version best!

DS, thanks for the info! Does anyone know if they still carry the really skinny one (~1.9mm each) at any particular location? Enerchi, maybe you wouldn't mind asking in LV. Maybe they can still get them in? I really wanted one in that size!

I saw the very skinny one a few months ago when I was in a Cartier store. Items tend to go on and off the website, so I wouldn't assume it's not being made just because it's not on the website. I'm a bit of a Cartier website stalker because I was trying to decide which width in the trinity to get for a while!

IRL I preferred the slightly thinner version than the classic one. The super skinny one wasn't as good on me. But I have long fingers so I think I just needed a bit more width.

In LV now. #2 DS is loving it so far! When we get going he's agreed he'll take pics, so I'll do my best to ask questions and post pics after!

Sugarski- I love that engraving idea!! I have three JDS too - how perfect an idea to celebrate each of them! :appl:

I have the super skinny one. I have short fingers so it looks better on me than the normal sized one, but it's a very small ring. I like the ideas of engraving the names of one's kids! I always figured the white one was for my son, the pink one for my daughter, and the yellow one for my husband, since he likes yellow gold better than white.

I'd love to engrave names on one if I ever get one. I wonder if they can engrave the skinny one?

Enerchi, you have to go to Cartier now! Please!

Does anyone know if the trinity is more expensive in France or Italy compared to the states?

What a lovely idea of engraving. Does anyone know if Cartier would do it complimentary? I am also wondering about German prices for these band comparing to USA. And of course, impatiently waiting for pictures from Enerchi :appl:

BTW, not sure if the super skinny ones are on eBay, but I got the next size up for about $550 on a best offer. If you're on top of it you can definitely find deals on eBay for rolling rings! I have a common size, too-53 (so about 6.5).

HI:

About the same--once you subtract the VAT. Before my DH bought my ring in Paris--I had my sister check the prices at her local shop.

cheers--Sharon

Definitely buy this in Europe if possible!

I also think I would like the $1000 one best. I tried on the classic when I was in NYC about 3 years ago and just wasn't sure about it. They didn't have the next smaller size then.
