I gained 25 lbs by 32 weeks, but then was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and had to follow the GD diet, and by the time I delivered I had actually lost a few pounds so my final total was 22 lbs.

I had two children in the 1970''s when in early twenties.

5''2 and gained 16 pounds for each pregnancy. Each baby weighed around 6 lbs.10 oz. I nursed both for over a year and lost the weight very quickly.

I''m 37 and 5ft 10".

I started out at 132lbs and ended up at 207lbs... so a total gain of 75lbs

Most of it was water though - the last weeks I was putting on 5lbs a DAY at times. I lost the whole lot by around 6 weeks PP and was back in pre-preggo clothes after 3 or 4 weeks.

I have always been lucky on losing weight easily - I don''t diet or exercise so I guess it must be genetics or something, or breastfeeding - but I was still suprised to get my figure back so fast. The wrinkly skin and jellyness did take a while longer to see an improvement and still not as it was before.

I''m 5''10, and weighed 130 when I got preggo. Went up to 155 (or so).

5'' 8" and 115lbs on the day I got a positive HPT. 159lbs on the day I delivered. I delivered at 36 weeks so who knows how far past the 45lbs I would have gained. Back down to 120lbs and skinny jeans around 3 months post delivery.

I gained 30-35lbs both times and lost about 27lbs of it the day I delivered took about three months post partum to be back to the same weight I started out, even though I was back to the same weight, my body changed a bit, lost more weight on the top area

after nursing, then I got older felt like some went to my cheeks

and the other part went to my middle area but still the same weight

I am 5'' 9" and weighed 145 at the start of my pregnancy, I gained a total of 58 lbs, but I had triplets. I delivered at 34 wks....I lost all of the weight and I fit in all my old clothes, but my body will NEVER be the same...

29 lbs - first full-term pregnancy. Was less than my pre-pregnancy weight about 2 months post-partum.

Triplets, wow!!!

Chas-Wow, girl triplets!? That''s crazy! That''s a good amount of weight! I am not over my pregnancy but so far 20 lbs. I think that my body is better than how it was before. All my clothes look flattering and like how I look in the mirror, even though I look this way.

#1 - 25 lbs - lost 32 lbs by two weeks pp.

#2 - Maintained a loss of -7 throughout most of my pregnancy. Was -7 at 16 weeks and the same the day I had her, 39 weeks. Lost an additional 25 lbs by 2-3 weeks pp.

#3 - I think I gained like 30 lbs with more than half being water retention. I also had a significant case of polyhydramnios and I had a distended uterus so that affected my overall weight gain. Was down 32 lbs by two weeks pp.

#4 - I lost 19 lbs by 12 weeks (no m/s, just a super fast metabolism during pregnancy) and gained back 12 of it. I was 26 lbs below pre-preg at two weeks pp.

With my first 5 years ago, I gained a whopping 55 pounds. I was on bedrest for 3 months at the end and was swollen beyond belief, but I totally cut out exercise and ate pretty poorly (mainly carbs as that''s all I could get down for a long time). I had never had to work at my weight before, so I expected it to just fall off...haha, the joke was on me b/c I realized it was a year later and I was still carrying lots of baby weight. So, it took about another year before it all was off plus some and I was in the best shape of my life.

This pregnancy, I gained 30 pounds exactly. It has been 1 week since delivery and I have lost 26 pounds. The difference this time was that I kept pretty active, at least walking several times a week and not going crazy with the food. I realized this time I wasn''t eating for 2 GROWN people, just me and a little bitty person, so I didn''t really eat much more than normal. It feels good to go back to almost my same weight so quickly, but I can''t wait until I get clearance to exercise to get rid of the flab!

#1- I was 158 lbs when I got pregnant(was much heavier than I normally was because I went through a miscarriage 6 month previous and went into a depression and just ate everything) and when I went in to deliver I was 192lbs
#2- I was 138lbs when I got pregnant and I think around 185 when I went in
#3 -I was 143 lbs and 180lbs when I went in.
I am proud to say I have gotten down to 127 with a lot of hard work and exercise but my body will NEVER be the same. LOL

I gained about 40 lbs, watching what I ate (although not really how much) and working out daily. I''d like to keep a better handle on the how-much next time around. Now, almost 10 months post-partum, I am 3 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. My stomach has still not completely recovered though, but I can feel a six pack lurking underneath all of the extra skin.
