Just wondering how much you would pay for this Scott Kay platinum diamond pave ring if you were to purchase it second hand (gently used but in excellent condition)?

Specs:
Platinum
11 diamonds totaling .32 carats
G color VS clarity

I looked on the Scott Kay website and I think the item # is B1064RD retailing for $3,050.

Thanks for the help!

that is really overpriced at 3K. Wow.

The one I have retails for 3000 too. It's the same as that, but with .18 in diamonds instead of .32. I paid 500 for mine, it was gently used as well. I had it re-polished and sized for another 20-30 bucks. Worth every penny. For that one... 750 or 800 max. Mine is worth what I paid and I love it. But I would NEVER had paid the new retail price on it.

Do you think it''ll go well with a stuller solstice? So $625 (already my size) is a good price? I would never pay $3K for it either... but it is platinum...

I'd snatch that puppy up if the seller is reputable. Yes, it's platinum, and the carat weight is good. And it looks authentic from the photos. If you feel the seller is reputable, go for it. If it doesn't go with the setting, you can list it on Pearlmans, and I'll take it! LOL.

ETA: You realize there is going to be a gap between the band and the solitare, right? The way the head is on the solitare won't allow for a flush fit. So I think as long as your fine with that, there's a high probability that you'll be happy with it.

yeah, I think it would be beautiful with your engagement ring!! I''d pay $650-750 for the band... gently used. I thought you were going to buy a new one. GL!

Hi Gypsy!

I appreciate your feedback. I actually like the look of the gap between the band and the solitaire. I was more concerned with the height of the rings... but i guess I can buy it and try it out. The seller is reputable but returns aren''t accepted, so it''s a tough decision...

Hi Mis Fortune!

I have to say first off that I LOVE your rings. BEAUTIFUL!

I honestly can''t afford $3K for a new band... that''s why I was looking for something used.. Thanks for all your feedback!

I can understand that. I only have 2.5 mm of clearance and wanted a flush fit with my setting, and Pearlmans had mine for sale. It was 2 mm in height and I didn''t know if the shapes of the rings would work together AND I wanted it sized before it was sent to me, which made it not returnable (but I could still consign it myself with them if I wanted) and I was nervous. But it was too good a deal to pass up so I took a chance. It worked out for me. You can always list it yourself for sale, on ebay, craigslist, or Pearlmans. And it will move as long as you keep the pricing reasonable. Pearlmans had 15 calls for mine, but I managed to beat them all. LOL. So, I KNEW that even if I didn''t want it, someone would.
