For those that i see with many, many rings.. do you wear them all?

So far I have 3 rings, but will be getting more.

Only my ering is sturdy enough for everyday wear and that is the ring I swap back and forth with my other rings. I would think though, as my collection grows, it'll just be too much. I think I would just continue to get more stones and not bother setting them.

Do you limit yourself to x number of rings at any time? (selling off ones as you get more)
Do you implement some sort of rotation to wear them?
Do all the rings get worn?

I have 16 erings. I have a couple of RHRs. I am in the collecting business. Every stone is special to me and most of them are either gifts or the settings are gifts.

Rotation...nope. I wear what I want to wear--usually based on colors I'm wearing and mood.

No. There is one ring that very rarely gets worn--it is very very old and worn and a couple of diamonds have already fallen out.

ETA: I set just about everything. I want to be able to see it and enjoy it as much as possible! They just don't do as much for me when they are in the box.

I have about 40 rings and I wear pretty much all of them apart from when it doesen't fit the situation (i.e. Work). I only wear a ring on each hand. When I was in school I used to love wearing a ring on each finger but the bands would get so scratched that I don't do anything like that anymore!

I don't know how many rings I have but it's probably into the hundreds. So to answer your question, no I don't wear them all! I wear a ring with my wedding band and another ring on the other hand every day. I swap and change those rings according to what I'm wearing. Some of the rings I've bought, I've bought purely for the stone and the mounting has been just an added bonus (or not, depending on the setting  ). I've been known to pull stones out of settings and have them re-set into something I would wear more often.

I decided to sell some recently and have a clear out but when it came to it ............... I couldn't! :loopy:

Every day, at least four rings at a time.

wows! thats a lot of rings! I'm so envious and yes, I can totally understand not wanting to sell pieces that you dont wear.

I have 3 rings - my wedding set and a 3 stone OEC RH ring. I wear them whenever I am out of the house but not at home.

My pet rocks live in boxes not settings.

At least three. One I can not take off; it was put on my middle finger intentionally as a weight-reduction measure.

If I were younger, I'd pierce my earlobes in two spots, pierce my navel, my lip, to wear more!

I wear my ering and a RHR ring everyday. I can't go count how many RHRs I have right now because if my husband sees what I am doing he'll make some comment of "too many". I think it is at least about 30.

I pick which ring I want to wear tomorrow before I go to bed. Then in the morning I pick the clothes that will match it. Sad, but true.

I don't wear about 1/2 of my rings. A few I wear about once a month and I have about 6 rings I wear at least once a week.

What do I do with rings I don't wear anymore? If they are from somewhere that takes jewelry back for upgrades, I will trade them in for something I will wear. I also have had luck selling them at work. Also my nieces, sisters and friends have all been pleasantly surprised to get some jewelry from me.

Right now I have my wedding set and a 1/2 eternity band that I wear on the pinky next to my wedding set. I wear all three every day. On my right hand I wear a James Avery CS ring along with two cheap sterling stackers off of etsy. I wear these most days. I occasionally wear another James Avery silver only ring on the index finger of that hand.

JKT is currently setting a stone for me to replace the James Avery CS ring. I anticipate wearing it almost every day like I do the current ring. I'm also having DanielM set one of my stones to wear on my right hand index finger as an occasional wear ring.

I wear a right hand ring evey time I go out of the house. Never in my house. I think I have 10 (or so) rhr's.

I have perhaps a total of 10 rings but rarely wear them. I love to look at them but unless it's a super thin band, I cannot tolerate the feel of something constricting my finger even if the ring is loose. As an example, I forgot to wear my ring to work this morning.
