How the veil should I know?

I love this Sara Gabriel veil. Kind of like a birdcage, but without the traditional netting. I''ll see if I can pictures at my fitting tomorrow...I have a lace dress and a fingertip length veil (pencil edge), so while it may not be exactly what you have in mind, maybe it''ll help give you an idea?

OooOoO...I like this one, love that it has the birdcage feel with a more lace/tulle look.

OooOoO...I like this one, love that it has the birdcage feel with a more lace/tulle look.

Ditto ... That Sara Gabriel is gorgeous. I think that the tulle might be better suited than the traditional netting. It''s the only way that I envision a birdcage veil working with your dress.

For some reason, I thought of you when I saw this video on the jlmcouture website Lazaro Fall 2009 Sneak Peek ... I think that it''s the veil on the 3rd or 4th dress on the runway - cathedral length with a waist length tier & lace ... I think that that would look amazing with your stunning dress. I know that you don''t want lace but I had to post it b/c I immediately thought of you when I saw it.

That's a gorgeous veil!

I also have a lace dress and bought a tulle 'birdcage' veil to match. It worked better with the texture of the dress over the traditional netting.

I also have a lace dress and bought a tulle ''birdcage'' veil to match. It worked better with the texture of the dress over the traditional netting.

Spark - very nice!!! I DO like that veil on the Lazaro runway. I thought cathedral would be too long but it really doesn''t hide much so the back detail will be easily noticed.

I also love that Sara Gabriel!! I''ve seen that ad EVERYWHERE and at first took it as a sign....but that was before I found a dress. I definitely agree about this birdcage looking a little more appropriate withouth the traditional netting. Hmmmm

I like the ebay one too, but not as much as the runway veil or the sara gabriel...

How about a knee length veil (no lace). Wouldn''t it look nice stopping right at the flare in the dress? HAving trouble finding a picture...

It''s not a great picture, but here''s a photo of my lace dress with pencil edge veil. I know it''s a little different from yours, but maybe it''ll give you a clearer idea...?

I never thought about hte pencil edge veil, but I definitely like the way this longer veil looks with a more form fitting dress like yours...STUNNING, MY DEAR!
