how i miss being in kauai. i want to go back!!! wah...

the road to polihale is so crazy! i remember the first time we went to kauai to plan our wedding, sam and i read about polihale beach and decided we wanted to go see. we kept driving and when we hit the major bumpy road, we thought we had gotten lost! we were freaked out too because we didn''t know if the little convertible we rented would make it through the potholes. we kept thinking, what if we had a flat tire and were stuck out there with no cell reception? there was no way we could push the car out! but we made it to the beach and it was so worth it!!

the boat trip sounds so much fun. we''ll have to try that the next time we''re there. i think hands down kauai is the most beautiful hawaiian island.

I was driving and couldn't take maneuvering around and in the potholes so I had a meltdown and told hubby to drive! It was so freaky but worth it at the end!!!!

You should go back LINDA! I thought we would be bored going back for over 2 weeks and having been there before for almost 2 weeks the time before. NOPE, we discovered so many beautiful hiking trails and did the awesome 4 1/2 hour boat ride, helicopter again, riding horses, swimming in water falls and snorkeling with TURTLES! Kauai rocks and I found a gorgeous condo furnished in Tommy Bahama in Princeville at a great price! I will give details a little later.

I know. . . when you said you stayed on the resort I was thinking "What????"

You could have seen the valcano and waterfalls and snorkeled on the Big Island. Didn''t FI want to explore; the Four Seasons did look nice though.

He''s kindof lazy on vacation. Also, I don''t know how to drive, so the driving is all up to him.
