HPD CBI 2.12 E VS2 upgrade!

My upgrade arrived today! I went from a 2.09 F Vs2 to this 2.12 E VS2. Color wasn’t that important because the F was colorless already, so I was just trying to find a cleaner VS2 plot (No clouds) and decided to go with this one.

It might be my imagination but I find the E to be brighter and I’m happy with the diamond! I also had my prongs changed a bit. While they aren’t exactly what I had in mind, in person they virtually disappear and really let the diamond shine!

Super happy and the upgrade process was (too) easy! A little dangerous...

My very favorite store to take diamonds to is Whole Foods, they have the best lighting! But I guess I’ll have to wait a while to see it in those conditions!

Those tabs are fascinating! What were you originally expecting? I actually really think they're lovely, they look like, as you said, they would be very difficult to see in person. Interestingly, the only time I've really seen tabs like that are on antique rings. Like maybe Edwardian or Victorian? I think that's really cool.

I was going for more the Tiffany tabs, but these are definitely different. I was pretty skeptical when I saw the picture, but when I saw it in person it all just blends and you barely see them unless you are looking for them! So I was pleasantly surprised!
