So he did it. He pulled the big one over on me. He had me going for weeks about a his presents under the tree. I could tell one was a jeweler''s bracelet box and the other one was a large shoebox size box that was very heavy. Of course I focus in on that bracelet box! I was hoping that the bracelet was one of the one''s I had been wanting from my local jewelers but he told me it was something new that I had never seen before that my jeweler had brought in specifically for me. So of course I start worrying about whether I''m going to like it or not. I can be pretty picky when it comes to jewelry. He tells me that he went way over budget but that after this horrid year it was something he wanted to do. So now I really start worrying about this bracelet. The one I originally wanted was a small one that was perfect for every day wear. If he spent all that money then this thing could potentially be some huge honker that I really didn''t want. Have you ever been afraid to open a present on Christmas? That''s where I was. He tells me right before Christmas that there is a pendant that matches my new bracelet that he might get me for my birthday and I was like...umm, okay while I''m thinking oh boy, I better like this %#@&* bracelet. So Christmas comes and it''s present time. I figure I''ll open the bracelet last. So I pull over the heavy shoe sized box and everyone screams NOOOOO, that one goes last. Umm okay......so here it is.....I have to open the bracelet box and I am skeered!!!
This is what I find when I open the box....................................a very dainty 18kt yellow and white gold bracelet with .52 ctw FY princess diamonds and 1.54ctw white diamonds and it''s gorgeous and goes great with my ring. Did I mention it''s gorgeous? It''s got yellow gold swirl inlays on the sides. But really how much could he have spent on this bracelet? Maybe he was just kidding me about what he spent.
