Oh, I just loved the story! It is so nice when someone pulls a trick on you that turns out to be an over the top surprise!

Both pieces are incredibly beautiful and they match the ring so well. It is an exquisitely coordinated collection and I''m rooting for those earrings for you for your birthday. He has set it up to be so easy for him to make huge points and you to be very happy!
