I feel the need to publicly state how AMAZING Nancy Stacy is.....she is located in Walnut Creek, CA and is a Master Gemologist Appraiser and more...I just cannot list all of her accomplishments, too many, LOL!
After answering countless phone calls, frantic emails, looking at diamonds I had found.....all without once losing her perfect professionalism (I was probably bordering on obsessed, LOL) I finally decided on my diamond with her help, expertise, and unwavering patience and kindness.
I just cannot say enough about how great she is and I highly recommend her to anyone in CA looking for a wonderful person and a phenomenal appraiser. I learned so much from her and was able to have basically an active learning session while she appraised my diamond.
So......the ring that made the cut and is now sitting pretty on my finger.....
GIA 2.68 ct.
9.02 x 9.08 x 5.47mm
G color...closer to an F when Nancy and I looked at it
SI2
Cut: Very Good
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Depth: 60.4
Table: 56
Crown angle: 35
Pavilion angle: 40.8
Lower star: 85
Girdle: Very Thin-Medium (faceted)(Only "very thin" in 4 very small places)
Fluor: Faint
HCA: 1.4
This 2.68 looks MUCH more sparkly and bright than my former 2.11 that had these specs:
Specs on the 2.11:
Shape: Round Brilliant
Measurements: 8.15 x 8.19 x 5.10 mm
Carat Weight: 2.11 carats
Color Grade: H
Clarity Grade: SI2 (pretty eyeclean and I am SUPER picky)
Cut Grade: EXCELLENT
Finish
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Very Good
Fluorescence: Strong Blue....definitely a bit "blue" in direct sunlight
HCA: 1.6
Thanks again Nancy!!!
