I think the head is a personal preference...I had a WG head on my marquise with a platinum setting and HATED IT!!! I have changed to platinum and am so happy.

Yes...it did change to yellow gold and it pissed me off. LOL. I know that seems like a stupid thing to obsess over but it drove me absolutely crazy that my band was the nice platinum and my head was a noticeable tint of yellow. Simple fix is to get it rhodium plated but that''s an inconvenience. Like I said...I think its a preference and theres always a chance it will turn yellow but for me...I wouldn''t do that again. I''m VERY happy with the platinum head with my platinum band...I don''t have to be annoyed anymore LOL
