I’ve been a busy gal this year. I’ve pretty much upgraded all my everyday staples. May I present the the latest upgrade, a 8.25ct diamond tennis bracelet. 33 x 0.25 ACA diamonds, f/g, vs, 6.25” length, plat 3 prong setting. Stunning!!

I have the bracelet paired with two Hermes white gold/diamond bracelets. After wearing these together I’m considering parting with the two Hermes bracelets and getting a second tennis bracelet with diamonds in the .30-.35 range to layer with. Thoughts on that??

Some people mentioned that it’s heavy but I assume that number of diamond itself is less than 4 prong so I can go Plt for 3 prong
Before making final decision, it would be great to hear your story.

Thanks for your compliments, so sweet! I absolutely love my tennis bracelets. My decision on WG vs Plt is pretty simple, I absolutely hate how WG patinas. Drives me bonkers. Thankfully the Hermes bracelets have stayed very white w/ no patina and I wear them all the time. On the other hand, my WG VCA alhambra’s which are not even a year have started to dull and patina, very disappointing. I know there is a lot of info on the forum about the ratio of alloys in WG that are better to prevent the patina, and that WG is better for certain applications due to the differences in properties. All all my jewelry from WF is plt and I have no issues with plt with the exception of the eternity band made of .5ct diamonds (but that I think was multi factorial not just b/c plt setting). Hope this helps!

Oh worth noting, I do not wear my jewelry to bed, to shower, and usually take rings off when cooking but not bracelets. I keep all my jewelry on for stuff like watering flowers, opening shipping boxes, carrying groceries, and similar daily activities/chores.

@RunningwithScissors I had whiteflash custom make me 2 diamond tennis bracelet’s with ACAs (super ideals) last year. Both bracelets were custom due to the requested stones I wanted. Here are the specs of each bracelet:

1. 33 x 0.25ct ACA, f/g color, vs clarity, 6.25 length, 3 prong plat setting

2. 28 X 0.33 - 0.35ct ACA, d/e color, vvs clarity, 6.25 length, 3 prong plat setting (anything over .25 WF required stones to be certified)


Sounds like I have what you are looking for! Couple of thoughts to consider:
1. Because you have a small wrist (like me) keep in mind that total caret weight will always be a bit smaller. Concentrate more on the size stones you want rather then the total caret weight of the bracelet.

2. I’m not trying to change your mind, however when you deal with super ideals and have smaller stones, you will not notice the color differences b/t d,e,f,g as much or if at all.


I’m ecstatic about both of my bracelets. I wear the smaller one on my left wrist paired with my 2 Hermes bangles, and the larger on my right wrist with my watch. I do not wear them daily due to my job requirement, however I often put them on when I get home and lounge with my beauties

I've been creating a similar bracelet but its going very slooooowly -- buying 1-3 ACAs at a time. Its torture, but I'll finish eventually. I have 21 out of 28 stones.

Glad to learn from your experience! True that I also had a same issue for my first ering with WG… some people said platinum is heavy to daily use but I got convinced by you!!! Thank you again.
