Quick question - I am looking at purchasing an 1.5 carat I color SI1 diamond.
However, the white-gold diamond band I have chosen comes with G-H color diamonds.
Will I notice the difference in colours between my 1.5 and the diamonds on the band?

The 1.5 i'm looking at is one from WF expert selection and I have been told by Bob I will not notice the difference in diamond color since the diamond is AGS 000.

Thanks for everyone's feedback!

Also, has anyone ever had issues returning an engagement ring to whiteflash? Just curious.

Since they've told you that you won't notice a difference, then I'm sure you won't. How large are the G-H stones? You could ask them to send you a picture showing the center stone next to the G-H stones just for your peace of mind, but I really think you'll be absolutely fine!!

That said, if you're ever concerned about contrasting colors between a center stone and the melee, your best bet is to follow the vendor's recommendations. They've got the eyes and the expertise to make the best call for you. There's really no way to make broad-brushed judgments because (as I've learned the hard way) there are so many variables (e.g., how much warmth does the center stone show (which can sometimes be linked to the shape of the stone)? how large are the melee? what is the cut grade of the stones (ideal, ACAs, etc are going to appear much whiter)? etc etc)

In your case though, you have no worries. You're going to LOVE the end result and I can't wait to see the pictures you post!!!!!
