Thanks! It’s hard to resist yg fever. I tried, but it took me over. No matter I tried...

Thank You! I love both thin and wide bands equally. Alternate band and you get totally opposite look. Thick bands are maybe little dated, but to me it screams VERY married:lol:. Nice travel memory, by the way.

I just went back and looked at your other setting and I love those, but this stone definitely wanted yellow gold and to be a solitaire! I think that it just pops now!

Thank You, GearGirly! I love both my CvB settings, but this stone needed warm gold... and it wanted to be a star of the show.

I tried cure my fever year ago by stacking platinum Zoe with gold bands, but it didn’t work. This setting was the perfect medicine!!!
 
I started buying yellow gold in December...but not for my solitaire yet.. having yellow gold solitaire envy now :)
It’s so retro it’s contemporary, yes?
And lush, yes. I feel/see that also :love:

There is always room to different metals:D. I like platinum with colored stone, like my Mahenge garnet. But for my oec, after all tryings, yg is perfect.
And yes, I made some drawings to my goldsmith near me and rest is history.
