I don't know how to go about selling this diamond tennis bracelet

There is something wrong with the Diamond Bistro site. I tried with two emails, but never received a confirmation. Poshmark has a 20% fee. Mercari is much cheaper, but fine jewelry does not appear to be sold there. My bracelet does not meet criteria for Etsy if I read it correctly. Thus I am selling on the scary world of ebay. The Real Real quoted me a new range of 2600-3600. I don't understand why they have a thousand dollar range after a thorough appraisal. The jeweler did excellent work on my side job and cleaned everything very nicely.

So keeping in mind the Ebay fees and potential offers, I am starting with $3500. Sorry again for breaking PS rules. =/

An appraisal as you're using it is one jeweler's opinion on the market value of the piece. The Real Real gave you a second opinion, that's more in line with the data they're seeing with similar pieces (and btw, the Real Real can get things wildly, wildly wrong like an Erika Winters ring they sold to me, with hallmarks, for $1,200). I think if you price it that high, you're going to be sitting on that bracelet for a long time. You might get lucky and find a buyer who wants that exact style of rounds/baguettes but otherwise you're up against buyers looking for that carat weight of a tennis bracelet, and deciding yours is the most compelling from the stats given and price. If you're willing to wait 1-2 years, maybe that perfect buyer will come along and you'll get the higher range. If you want it sold, you reduce to the lower range.

What would you list it for? I am hoping for at least 3K.

FWIW, I’ve had a 2.09ctw baguette and round diamond bracelet in 18k white gold listed for something like $1200 for over six months now. It is a very specific look that isn’t exactly trending ATM. Just for a point of reference since yours is heavier, etc.

Where do you have it listed, if you don’t mind me asking?

EBay is tough unless it’s auction and then you can’t dictate the price :/ I wish LT would come back.

LT, which is presently down. I’d practically forgotten I listed it.

Is my bracelet much heavier? That makes me inclined to consider just keeping it. I don't need the money urgently. I will put in some thought about what is the lowest I will sell for vs keep it.

I think your bracelet is about 2.8 carats ?

Can’t hurt for you to list and see what happens. eBay usually has low ballers but every once in a while you can get your asking price even if it just sits longer. If you are no in hurry, just list and see what happens and lower the price if it doesn’t sell. I’ve had pieces listed for over a year and then bam! Sold. eBay makes buyers pay taxes and sellers fees, so going thru LT would be cheaper for all involved. There were a lot of interested parties in this bracelet—maybe they can make you an offer and you take it from there.

I agree with the pricing comment made. Unless someone really wants that style, it is going to sit, but if you are okay with that, it doesn't cost you anything to leave it there!

It's a more dated style.

For example, someone can buy brand new, a round tennis bracelet from ID Jewelry for $2500 that is 3cttw.

Not exactly the same, but similar concept and 5 cttw, for under $2k.

I think most buyers would be looking to spend under $2k and probably between $1300 and $1800 for the bracelet, based upon the market.

How does my listing look other than overpriced lol? Are the pictures okay? Is my description adequate? I have never sold anything expensive.
