I finally got the nerve to pop the question on saturday. I just want to thank the millions of people on pricescope that helped me find a great ring and diamond.

A little about the proposal:
We are both electrical engineers, so I made her a ''very homemade'' electronic ring box. It lights up, shakes, and sings the song '' I want to grow old with you'' from the movie ''Wedding Singer''. She loved it. Its definitely something one electrical engineer would appreciate from another.

The Ring:
Blue Nile Sweetheart Micropave Ring in Platinum

The Diamond:
Signature Ideal Cut, E Color, VVS1 Clarity, Round .78

Both my mom and my sister inlaw rings are from blue nile. They did a great job. They too went w/ signature Ideal Cut. It is very nice. Congrats again!!! PS... I really like the setting you picked

This is exactly the ONLY setting I was interested in Bluenile.com, but it doesn''t look as good as I thought it would be. Do you like it, eagle?
The diamond is very beautiful, and it''s also about the same size I am looking for (around 0.8 carat).

I like the ring a lot. She loves it even more. I ordered a size 6 because thats what she measured at other stores, but I think we need to get it resized to a 5.75 because it seems a little loose. The small diamonds on the side don''t sparkle like the center diamond does, but it makes the ring a little more interesting compared to a solitaire ring. I''d be glad to upload more pictures if you''d like to see something particular about it.
