I really like the look. Very flattering to your features. From the photos you can''t tell that the bronzer is too dark.

I think it looks very pretty.

kama-she did mention that when she does my make up the day of she''ll probably use liquid eyeliner because it will look good with the fake eyelashes. Liquid eyeliner will probably be darker, right? She used black eyeliner but it was the type in a little tub and she put it on with a brush. Maybe that''s why it''s not super dark?
Ahh, awesome! Liquid liners are usually more prominent than the pot and brush ones, so it''ll look fantastic! Me loves! What did the beau think? Did he love it on you as much as PS gals did?

I love eyeliner, I use a pencil when i want it smoky, liquid when I want it to be prominant but dainty/precise and a liquid eyeshadow with an angled brush when I want to slightly darken my eyelash line.

I think it looks fantastic.
Very soft like others have said and delicate and shimmery just what bridal make-up should be.
I''ve seen other pics of you and you don''t look drastically changed you like your normal self but prettier and bridal does that make sense? You''re pretty all the time by the way.
I love the colors she has used!
You look great!

I forgot to add that threading for your brows is totally the way to go it recovers faster than waxing and doesn''t hurt near as much. I went the threading way after some waxing mishaps. If you find someone who knows what they are doing it can look really sharp and it''s fast too and cheaper. In my neck of the woods the waxing cost $12-$15 whereas for my threading now it costs $5-$7

I wouldn''t change anything about it. I think you look beautiful and the make-up is lovely.

May I ask a ''dumb'' question? How much does a consultation cost? And, how much does it cost to have it done the day of? I went somewhere for a makeup trial and I wasn''t thrilled. I could''ve done just as good a job...and this was a really nice, upscale salon. :-\

I think it's beautiful. It's natural, it does exactly what makeup is supposed to do - emphasise your good features and not go overboard. I really think you look great.

I can see what you are saying about maybe a little too much bronzer, but in the photograph it actually looks fine to my eye. Overall the looks is very pretty, just the right amount of smoky and soft.

i think you look beautiful!! i think she could lighten up the bronzer if you would feel more comfortable that way, but you look great now...even if she did it exactly the same way on the big day you would look fantastic. i always get really washed out in photos-don''t know if you do, but i think bronzer helps with that a lot.

Love the look and how it enhances your gorgeous eyes.
The make up artist did a masterful job blending the shadow color and that pink will be the perfect complement to your dress. The liquid liner and the lash "enhancements" will be the perfect finishing touch to complete your spectacular look!

If you are loving the frosted shadow then it''s all good ... If it makes you feel pretty then it will translate well in pictures. Is it possible to do a combo of both ... maybe your make up artist can use a matte shadow under your brow and then touch it up with a bit of frost to give that glimmer you like but the matte base will help tone down the "shine" for pictures? Just a thought ... If not, it is still all good because the make up looks beautiful as do you!

AmberG-I have no idea who to go to for eyebrows...I wish I had a nice Irish woman to do mine! I''ve had some bad waxing experiences-they''re always too skinny and once the woman ripped the skin off below my eyebrows and I had scabs there for like 2 weeks! I think I might try threading. The make up artist actually recommended a threading place so I''ll probably try to go there next weekend to try it out. A month should be enough for my brows to grow back right if they get messed up, right?

I think threading sounds like a great option if you''ve had a bad time with waxing. Waxing is definitely not a good option for everybody - I''ve had bad waxes where my eyebrows were made way too thin, but I''ve never had skin ripped off or anything, that sounds horrible!

I''d really go with your gut on the person doing it though - have a conversation with them beforehand, and really talk in detail about what you''re going for - tell them you really just want them cleaned up, but left as full as possible, just a tiny bit of shaping, no reduction in size. If they can''t listen to you or don''t seem to know what you are talking about, RUN AWAY and find someplace else.

One other thing that is always a good indicator in my experience - check out the eyebrows of the person doing it. If theirs are super thin, that''s a bad sign too.

And finally, remember, if all else fails, you can always have your MUA fill them in

You look beautiful, Thing! I love the entire look, you''re such a knockout.

I understand your concern about the threading. I like to keep my eyebrows thick and waxers always want to thin them. Before I found my current waxer, I always just asked that they only clean up my brows, and nt thin or reshape them. Also, the ladies who work the front desk at the salon should have some insight about who over-threads and who doesn''t. The owner at my current salon flat-out told me who to avoid when I told her what I wanted. It really helped! I''ve never threaded, but it sounds great.

Thing your makeup looks beautiful!

Just my 2 cents on the eyebrows: I can''t wax either b/c I used retin A (would also end up with enormous scabs). I don''t know if you are near a Nordstroms, but the one by me has a brow studio in it called Anastasia and they tweeze for me instead of waxing. They''re great there and really work to give your eyebrows a great shape while keeping them full!! I''d bet many salons that offer waxing would be willing to tweeze for you instead.
Threading would probably be a good option though as well.

I had the same thought about the shimmery shadow...mostly just the brightness of it right below your brows and inner corner of your eyes. Sparkalicious may have a great idea of mixing the matte and frost. Your overall look is stunning, very fresh, pretty skin, and I love, love, love that lipcolor....please let me know what color they used. You look amazing!

I think it looks really pretty, but to be completely honest, it looks like everyday makeup to me, not special occasion or wedding makeup.

I really like your makeup---personally I don''t like MAC, but this may change my mind.

Whoa, I totally missed the last few responses-sorry to ignore my own thread!

Haven-I asked the owner at my salon (she cuts my hair) and she immediately recommended a girl who is fantastic with eyebrows, so I booked an appointment with her! And thank you for the compliment!

Jen-Thank you! That''s very good to know about the Retin-A/wax combo...I do use Retin-A somewhat irregularly (if I use it too often my skin peels off!) so that might be an issue. Maybe I''ll just ask her if she can only pluck.

dianne-okay, that''s 2 votes for a more matte shadow...I''m thinking I''ll ask her to keep it shimmery but not AS shimmery the day of. And I''ll let you know about the lip color! She wrote it all down and I''m going to buy it the day of so I''ll tell you then.

marchswallowbird-huh, that''s surprising that it looks like everyday make up to you, because to me it is a TON of make up! I only wear a light foundation and mascara ever day. I guess that sort of thing is all relative! But I''m glad you like the look over all!

UCLABelle-thank you! I''m a recent convert to MAC, actually. I used to just buy drug store stuff but when I decided to start wearing a light foundation a few months ago I went to MAC because my twin sister and good friend are huge fans. It seems like all the make up artists there are pretty good, too!

I think just a little shimmer will look great...you will still have that extra special "oomph" but it won''t look metallic-y in your photos. I have a terrible time with lip color more than anything else so I would love to know the color...it''s gorgeous!!! Thanks!
