Hi all,

So I am shopping for an engagement ring and my budget is $5,000 for the diamond.
I am overwhelmed with all the comparison diamond websites out there.

Looking for something around 0.90-1ct, Color G and up, GIA rated, trying to avoid anything bellow VS2... thank you.

So far the best I found is.

$5,500

Maybe I asking for too much but ... if you can send a link to a diamond that you think is a better value, that would be great.

Look at ID Jewelry, they have been great in terms of working with me and my budget, which is just about the same as yours. Plus, he'll show you all the pictures you want to see.

She meant wish. BlueNile doesn't show you pictures, or idealscopes of their diamonds, and from what I have read, they don't ever actually see them themselves (I'm not sure if that is accurate). The diamond you selected looks good on paper, but it always helps to see what you are looking at, and there are some other vendors that are willing to do some more legwork for you, while still staying inside your budget, like IDJewelers.

Request an idealscope image of those 2 that Julie recommended.
